Time for vaccines for your kids

Here’s proud dad Darren with his 2 younger daughters, who have just had their first dose of the Paediatric Pfizer vaccine.

If your kids are coming for their jab, they might want to bring a toy to cuddle, just like Ivy did.

Note our booking schedule as follows:

– Mondays and Tuesdays – Pfizer paediatric vaccines (5 to 11 years old)

– Wednesdays – Pfizer adult boosters

– Thursdays and Fridays – Moderna boosters

We’ll be releasing more bookings in the next few weeks.

We’re still open but ….

Berwick Pharmacy is still open the same hours as always but as  Omicron infections spread through the community in ever greater numbers, on some days we might have to make do with lower staff numbers than we’d like. 

If any of our team are Covid positive or need to isolate we have to hope that we have spare staff who can fill the gaps. This might not always happen, so perhaps you may have to wait longer at the cash register or your prescription may take longer to prepare. You may have to wait longer to speak to a pharmacist or a pharmacy assistant.

All our team are doing their best and many of them are feeling their own stresses with family impacts from Covid infections. We thank you for your kindness and understanding and we are all hoping we come through this tough situation soon.

If you take regular medications it might be a good idea to sign up to Medadvisor, which is an app on your phone where you can manage your prescriptions. You will receive reminders for your next prescription and you can order your prescriptions through the app. Your prescriptions will be ready for you when you call into the pharmacy. You can even pay for them online, avoiding waiting at the cash register. Ask one of our pharmacists about Medadvisor  or visit your app store.
